Adrienne Phelps-Coco is the Associate Director of Online Pedagogy at the Harvard Division of Continuing Education and an instructor in the Learning Design Certificate at Harvard Extension School. She wandered into a career in instructional design while finishing a PhD in history and still has a deep love and respect for the humanities. Adrienne began teaching night GED classes during her freshman year of college and has been teaching in some capacity nearly ever since. She loves connecting with each new group of student and discovering what insights they will bring to the classroom. She views online learning as primarily about human beings teaching and learning from one another and loves collaborating with her team to develop methods of online learning that make these connections easier.
