Digital Pedagogy Lab is pleased to announce a new partnership for the 2020 event at the University of Colorado Denver: both the National Teaching and Learning Forum and Women in Higher Education have come on board as sponsors. We were pleased to welcome Women in Higher Education as a partner for the 2019 gathering, and doubly pleased this year that both of the publications are showing their support for the educational work being done at the Lab.
The National Teaching and Learning Forum “covers the breadth of college teaching and learning issues including learning theory, class management, pedagogical innovation, technology and more.” NLTF finds its readership among higher education administrators and hopefully soon professors, instructors and other educators. With an international scope, NTLF reports on and introduces readers to innovations and practices in teaching and learning with an eye especially on cross-disciplinary concerns.
Women in Higher Education has a mission to provide women on campus with practical ideas and insights to be more effective in their careers and lives. An invaluable resource for women in academe, the newsletter has a decisive goal: “to enlighten, encourage, empower and enrage women on campus.” By supporting a strong community of women’s voices in higher education, WIHE goes a long way to build a more equitable academic culture, where women are respected, and where they can be leaders as education faces its challenges and opportunities.
Digital Pedagogy Lab has always had a mission to support cross-disciplinary, international, and equitable pedagogies in higher education, and the event has always supported women as leaders in digital learning, critical pedagogy, and innovation. We are therefore very grateful to have the sponsorship and support of these two publications. Please be sure to visit their pages to learn more.
